Four films from Atelier de Sèvres selected at the Carrefour du Cinéma d’Animation event

For the 17th year running, the Forum des images is organising the Carrefour du Cinema d'Animation. This edition is particularly of note for the selection of four films made by students from the Animation Degree Course.

One of the most important animation events takes place in December. Le Carrefour du cinéma d’animation, supported by the Forum des images, brings together professionals and amateurs of the discipline each year around a dedicated event. The programme includes screenings of previously unseen films or previews of feature films, a selection of the best French short films, production secrets, a "politics and animation" section and an evening celebrating Japanese animation.

Also on the programme are a selection of student films. And, this year, Atelier de Sèvres is proud to present four films made by its graduate animation students.

Four animated films selected

"Dormance", directed by Lisa Grossbourgeois, "Une dernière cigarette" directed by Sébastien Kirszenblat, "Le bruit du saké" directed by Thais Sartorius and "L’homme qui est foudroyé" directed by Valentine Vendroux are part of the official selection for Carrefour du Cinéma d’Animation.

They will all be screened during the festival, from 12th to 15th December, 2019.
