The École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, commonly known as "Les Arts décoratifs", has been training sought-after actors from the international art and design community for 250 years.

The École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts trains high-level artists. It is under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and occupies an essential place on the contemporary art scene.

The École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts de Paris-Cergy is conceived as a laboratory for artistic practices. Its teaching covers a very wide spectrum of disciplines in the fields of visual arts, writing, performing arts and cinema.

The École professionnelle supérieure d'arts graphiques de la ville de Paris provides training courses in visual communication in the broad sense of the term for professional purposes.

The Haute école des arts du Rhin (HEAR) was created in January2011 through the merger of the École supérieure des arts décoratifs de Strasbourg (ESADS) and the École supérieure d'art de Mulhouse (Le Quai) and the Conservatoire de Strasbourg's music higher education programmes into a single artistic higher education institution. The Strasbourg visual arts site offers courses in art, art-object, visual communication, visual didactics, illustration and scenography.

The École Supérieure d’Art et de Design of Reims trains creators in the field of art and design: art, object-space design, graphic and digital design. It is specialized in the fields of plant design and culinary design.

The Ecole supérieure des beaux-arts de Nantes Métropole welcomes each year more than 300 students (30% of whom are international students) who are interested in the arts and visual creation careers. Students can obtain two state diplomas: the D.N.A. option Art (National Art Diploma) in three years and the D.N.S.E.P. option Art (Higher National Diploma of Plastic art Expression) in five years, accredited as a master's degree and registered in the national repertoire of professional certifications at level 7 (EU).

The École européenne supérieure d’art of Brittany joins together the higher schools of art of Brest, Lorient, Quimper and Rennes. It offers courses in art, communication and design, and awards national diplomas at Bac +3 and Bac +5 levels (DNSEP being equivalent to a Master's degree).
